Honest Burgers have been working on some serious concept pieces as part of both National Burger Day & Meatopia. I have of course had the privilege of shooting and then eating Chef Tom Barton's creations as part of their PR around the events.
First up was THE ROAST! A National Burger Day special based around the Great British Roast Dinner. A Brioche bun with fried cabbage, cheesy leeks, a horseradish cream, Ginger Pig dry aged patty and roast potatoes, all covered in a bone marrow gravy. My word.
For Meatopia, Honest created a kebab with a british twist, The Honest Shawarma. A barbecued steak kebab complete with garlic, chilli sauce, pickles, red cabbage and of course some honest triple cooked chips, this time topped with parmesan. This was only at the event but the guys at Honest are going to have to find a way to make it exist, somewhere, somehow full time.
