It's been a little while since i've posted an Honest Burgers blog piece but we have been constantly plugging away shooting specials and breakfast items as well as their new Old Street Location. Today however I give you... THE TRIBUTE TO BACON.
Bacon. The salty, savoury ingredient like no other. So revered that it has an entire calendar date devoted to its’ existence, National Bacon Day, 30th December. If you missed out on the annual celebratory bacon-gathering, deviate from the January diet and get involved with this month’s Honest Special; the homage to bacon.
Featuring bacon three ways, they use a thick-cut slab of smoked streaky Ginger Pig bacon that sits atop their dry-aged beef patty, trademark smoked bacon ketchup, and a side pot of bacon & beef gravy ideal for dipping. The bacon and beef contingents are paired with pickles, smoked cheddar and lettuce, and sit alongside a portion of rosemary-salted chips. The Tribute to Bacon is available in all branches for £12.50 until 25th January 2016.
