/ Jack’s Gelato

After a life of making ice cream in restaurants and home kitchens Jack put everything he had into starting Jack's Gelato, back in 2010, and hasn't looked back. 

Jack serves up what for my money is the best gelato in the UK and to be honest it’s better than any i’ve had anywhere including Italy (controversial I know.) Jack is based in the centre of Cambridge and has two shops serving up different scoops each day. He makes all the traditional flavours as well as some more controversial ones including some boozy favourites of mine, Stout, Nikka Japanese Whisky and Sherry Ice Cream.

Striving for perfection, never sitting still, making everything by hand in small batches and utilising THE best ingredients: Milk & Cream from the Estate dairy, Organic and fair trade cocoa, coffee beans from Artisan Roasters throughout the country & organic and fair trade Madagascan vanilla to name but a few.

I joined Jack in the shop for a couple of hours and grabbed a couple of snaps of his scoops.
