McDonald’s 50th Birthday TVC

The team at McDonald's have had me working across their new campaign to celebrate 50 years in the UK. We have been dialing up the nostalgia of children's birthdays spent in McDonald's in the 80s and 90s and trying to capture that joyful spirit. It's old meets new, nostalgic setting, modern food and of course Dexter smashing his VO as always! I've shot several parts on this campaign from TV to Advertising stills and the video food porn moments on the point of sale kiosks and the big screens behind the tills.

This TVC celebrates the range of food being offered for McDonald's Birthday, we shot two ten second commercials but we pack a lot in, a Double Big Mac, Mozzarella Dippers, A Birthday Doughnut AND A BBQ McCrispy in a dynamic moco range film. Then also a Double Big Mac celebrated as a champion on its own. Delicious. Thanks to a brilliant team at Darling films once again.
