The McPlant is a landmark launch for McDonald’s. They have been working on it for years, delaying its launch and pushing the quality to ensure that it is exactly what the Vegan consumer is looking for.
We wanted to ensure that whilst vegan it still felt like a McDonald’s product and had a looseness to its build that screams food appeal.
We shot this against a garden we build in the studio using real plant greenery to ensure the plant aspect shone through. I had to bury a little tin foil and a bags worth of tennis balls in the background just to add a little bokeh too. The things we do for burgers.
