/ Honest Burgers Liverpool Street
Announcing an East London branch of HONEST BURGERS. Phil, Tom, Dorian & the team have done a fantastic job once again as the new site is a gem. The outside is covered in beautiful white tiles giving it a modern New York feel. It however keeps it's London roots with it's beautiful art deco rails and pillars in the traditional Honest Burgers green.
/ Honest Burgers Christmas
It's here, the HONEST BURGERS Christmas special, beef, smoked bacon, deep fried camembert, cranberry sauce & rocket. Each year Honest Burgers put this back on the menu for the whole month of December. It’s outrageously delicious and one of their best selling specials.
/ Restaurant Photography
For restaurants, pubs & bars it is incredibly important to capture the real feeling of the place in the photography, not just a document of the food available on the menu.
Is it bright & airy, it is dark and moody? Is the food fine dining or is it a gluttonous dirty burger that is a treat or a hangover cure. All of the story needs to be told in the pictures you use to promote your menu.
/ Chocolate Photography
Chocolate Photography test for the portfolio shot with food stylist Natalie Thomson. We wanted the shots to be clean and simple focusing on indulgent textures, fruits, powders and drips.

/ Diageo World Class
I was lucky enough to be commissioned by the kind folks at Bacchus PR to shoot for Diageo, a giant of the drinks industry. I was gaining press & pr materials for their annual World Class bar tending competition. For those new to World Class, this is the Oscars of bar tending, the World Cup Final if you will. Bartender's have been competing for month's and then a lucky winner from each region to battle it out to win the title of World Class Global Champion.

/ Honest Burgers Marketplace
It’s May 2014 and there is another brand spanking addition to the ever growing Honest Burger roster. Their new home is on London's Marketplace on the corner of Great Titchfield Street, right behind Oxford Street. It's bright and airy and has loads of outdoor seating.
The guys commissioned me to shoot some interiors of the new place, heres just a few of them.

Restaurant interiors and exteriors of Honest Burgers’ newest restaurant at Kings Cross. This site has temporarily been turned into Honest Chicken a new pop up site for the chain.
/ Nando’s
One of my early commissions was shooting for the kings of convenience cravings Nando’s. Peri Peri chicken is what they are most famous for, fries, spicy rice, coleslaw and garlic bread compliment that main event to create one of the most popular restaurants in the country.
As a food photographer I was given the opportunity to shoot for them and create a series of images for their PR & Marketing channels.
/ Valentines
Roses are Red, Violets are blue, I’m a photographer, How do you do? These were a mailer I put out back in 2014 to celebrate Valentines day. I’d been doing a few more macabre projects with St Barts Pathology museum. It really connected with certain sub cultures and alternative groups and gets sent around every halloween.
/ Creme Brûlée
This has been the month of Creme Brûlée. I was lucky enough to be signed up by P for Production, who funded my tabletop directing/director showreel. The first film of which was this, a Creme Brûlée. I am now working with the brilliant team at food hall www.foodhall.london for my directing work.
/ Mens Health
Way back in 2013 I was commissioned by Mens Health to create a series of still life images of food to represent different health aspects. Be it Bananas’ potassium that allows you to keep going like a marathon, Lemon’s abilities to keep the doctors away or Pak Choi’s strength giving qualities.
These were brilliant fun to create alongside food stylist Natalie Thomson. They remind me of the famous Pret advertising photography campaigns.
/ Honest Burgers / Early Work
One of my first ever food clients were Honest Burgers. In August 2013.I was commissioned to do probably my second job with them; shooting some of their specials including a new breakfast burger and a smoked pigs cheek side. At this point they were up to three sites; Brixton, Soho and Camden and were very much a press paradise with my shots were featured in the likes of Shortlist, Time Out & The Evening Standard (to name a few) to promote them.
/ Volcano
Graphic food photography of a mash potato volcano filled to the brim with baked beans creating an eruption of lava sliding down the side. This is one from the archive shot as I was just creating my style. It’s a shot i’d like to recreate in the future with a bit more technical finesse.
/ Honest HBO / True Blood Louisiana Special
If you’ve trodden the Meat Liquor, Patty & Bun, Tommi’s burger triangle one too many times on your lunch break, head to Honest Burgers for their new Louisiana offering that centres around a Cajun blackened beef patty.
How to celebrate the season 5 DVD release of vampire drama True Blood in London? Turn the Thames blood red? Hire people to spontaneously rip off their clothes like they do in the show? Wrong – create a delicious burger!
